Founded by the Royal Malta Yacht Club and the Royal Ocean Racing Club 48 years ago it reached its 38th edition and is organized by the Royal Malta Yacht Club, it is one of the most famous and challenging regattas in the Mediterranean. Dal 21 October with the long race track 606 nautical miles, set sail from the Grand Harbor of Valletta at the foot of Forte Sant’Angelo: also this year the departure will be announced by the gun battery of the Barakka Gardens. After having circumnavigated Sicily counterclockwise, among the blue waters, the Aeolian and Egadi Islands, as well as Pantelleria and Lampedusa, the participants will return to Malta.
